What do you want to edit exactly?
You can create an 'about.html' file to add any HTML you want to the top of the page (but not within the black bar at the top that is).
If you want to change the HTML then you should duplicate the greyscale theme, give it a different name, and then change your FORUM_THEME option to point to this new theme. Then you can edit the theme however you like. Just be aware that when NNF gets updated that you will have to update your theme too to match the changes, or take a new copy and make your alterations again.

Just create a new text file in the root folder of the forum and call it 'about.html' (sans the inverted commas), and type in something akin to:
% <p>Click <a href="yourdomain.co.nr">here</a> to go back to the homepage.</p> %
I am sorry im cofused about the about.html where do i put that file?. in the public_html section or do i put in in the grestyle theme folder? im confused because i put it in the root folder public_html with the other files and its not showing?. please help.
Yah, public_html; that’s your web-root. :)
The contents of about.html appear near the top of the index page (e.g. here on Camen Design where it says "This is camendesign.com’s forum to discuss technology…"
Probably add <div> inside the footer?
