Anyone has made bootstrap theme or bootstrappet the default theme?.
Would there be a need for this? I was looking into Bootstrap 4 and it might be interesting to start with a NNF theme. But I am would not use it myself, so there would have to be community need.
I find the forum to be "light" on resources and i'm happy with that :) Bootstrap is heavy - i use it on my main site - with dependencies on javascript. Light alternatives to bootstrap could be http://mincss.com/docs.html , https://milligram.github.io, http://furtive.co/ . Take a look at this http://sixrevisions.com/css/small-css-frameworks/ for a list of alternatives.

I would not bring JavaScript into it, seems wholly unnecessary for an NNF template.
And I am also not sure why Bootstrap would need to be heavy. At the very least you would run something like uncss in your build flow and get rid of unused CSS. But I lean more towards including Bootstrap for its mixins et all, so I decide my own selectors and only use things I have a need for.
Simple Bootstrap theme which people can use it (embed) on their own Bootstrap baset site. Like Bootstrapping this theme, change all the css classes to bootstrap components.
Bootstrap theme without any css, using only Bootstrap components.

Ah, that’s the opposite of what I would do, but might also work. That does mean you would have to still edit the template yourself to fit it in with your site though. Because if I add classes for columns and your site is using a slightly different set-up all the work is for neigh.

I am not sure how that would work…
Maybe list group, form control, badges etc. So it will fit in most cases.
