Facebook code in status

append delete kiki

hello Guys! long time nnf user here. since u all seem to Be pretty good with programming and what not, what better place for me to ask My question :)

Is there a way to include a piece of 'code' in My Facebook status so that whoever is viewing it (logged in) sees their name there? I mean such as '*include their name here* Is a wonderful human being!' so whoever views my status feels they are a wonderful human being.

i have this magic trick id like to pull off but it would require such thing. Thanks in advance friends!

I am not familiar with any link that will go to anyone’s own profile, care to share? There is of course just `https://www.facebook.com/` to send them to their news feed.

One thing you can do, if you need to target specific people, is to create a post with only that one person as the audience. Than only they will see it and you can just write their name manually.

I haven’t looked into the FB APIs much, and they are making some pretty big changes because of GDPR, but it might be possible to automate this.

i need to target everyone, meaning whoever sees My status update on their feed, sees for example '*their name* has a nice shoes'.

http://facebook.com/profile.php?=73322363

thats the Link i was talking about.

Interesting, I did not know about that link. It looks like you may not even need the query part of it and just `profile.php` does the trick.

But you still will not be able to display variable names. Facebook posts always have a fixed text content. So the only trick I can think of is the one with one-post-per-person.

(Leave this as-is, it’s a trap!)

There is no need to “register”, just enter the same name + password of your choice every time.

Pro tip: Use markup to add links, quotes and more.
