Bored by "open" forum RPG rules where everyone tries to create an original character and ends up playing it as a memetic badass, I've created a forum RPG based on TVtropes. Character sheets are written by choosing a few tropes for each aspect of the character and briefly describing how the trope applies (one sentence or two typically). This way, it is my hope that people will create stereotypical monsters from the start and then try to differentiate themselves by polishing their roleplay instead of their character sheet.

Oh, and I've managed to write some background for the thing that actually somewhat justifies this character creation process.
