This thread is not for technical support of VfE, and I only provide technical support for VfE if it is unaltered (it has to be tested on so many browsers). If you can't get it to do what you want, just use mediaelement.js which patches up a million-and-one browser bugs that can't be solved in markup alone. Mine is a purist approach, not a practical one.
