greetings

stumbled on your site and find it is very impressive, really like the simplicity. we seem to approach design in the same way regarding style.
anyways, im in canada, and about to launch my second website. the first was hosted with the cheapest service i could find (in the u.s., of course).
the first site was an educational exercise - mine. the second will hopefully be more functional and get more use by others. my question is do you think its important to choose a host (w/ servers) from the country you operate, live, work in? This may be a bit too legal in nature for you to answer but i just wonder what your experience and feelings are on this basic decision.
