A bit offtopic, but I ended up writing a simple GreaseMonkey script that allows watching of YouTube videos without any javascript enabled (aside from GreaseMonkey of course):

Comments won't work. This is unfortunate because youtube is full of many enlightening comments pertaining to justin beiber.
