imgur integration?

think its possible to integrate code to upload images to imgur/display images ?

can i make the suggestion for a kind of image upload/display via 3rd party host like using the imgur api?

Embedding images is planned (https://github.com/Kroc/NoNonsenseForum/issues/128) As for uploading images, no, that's out of scope for NNF, but anybody is welcome to code such a thing in but it seems way overkill when you can just use imgur itself to upload and copy/paste the link in.

I had initially thought of the possibility of drag'n'drop uploading to imgur via their API.

I've implemented a similar thing, I didn't want to start adding lots of features though so theres just a simple drag n drop over the message section with instructions listed under Pro tip.

I'd recommend it done like this, it doesn't change the feel too much and works like a charm :)
